Located on the edge of the Clare township and nestled amongst world famous vineyards the picturesque Clare Golf Club is recognised as one of the best country courses in South Australia.

The par 72 course caters for all abilities, playing 5901 meters off the back blue tees, 5143 off the red markers, or the orange 'junior' markers for the up and coming golfer. Lush treelined fairways, excellent greens and winter creeks provide the golfer an interesting challenge.

The signature par 3 7th has one of the best views in golf and rated one of the best golf holes in SA. Measuring 115 meters it requires careful club selection, too much and your over the back, not enough and the steep hillside takes your ball.

The fully licensed Clubhouse is open to the public and offers views of several holes including an ideal vantage point to watch the tee shots coming into the challenging par 3 9th.

The course is open to play all year round.
